I'm insatiable for Robyn.

"Be Mine" isn't new, but I just came across an acoustic version and it's totally *slitz wristz* material:

to offset the sadness, I must say that I LOVE Robyn's snaggletooth. Really. It's far more charming than Madge's gap.

Reminds me of the perfection that is the teeth of Roland Garros' one-slam-wonder(ful), Gaston Gaudio.

I totally lied: more tennis

Have you SEEN the fabulousness in Queens?  We're all weeping with joy that Andre won last night. But what is really causing The Emotions to surface (something that I rarely experience) is seeing the ubersexy James Blake wearing a vintage Agassi tribute outfit.  So fantastically early 90's.

On a genius roll or whatever, Nike recently unveiled the "Maria Sharapova is Pretty" campaign.  I love it because it mocks the last five to ten years of athletes like Venus and Serena Williams and Anna Kournakova being marketed as sex symbols with little regard to their enormous athletic prowess.  When Sharapova grunts, smashes a backhand (almost killing the linesperson), silencing the crowd that was singing "I Feel Pretty" -- it's pretty fucking fantastic.  And it works because, well, she IS hot.  Check out what she wore earlier today:

It's Andre Agassi's last hurrah. And my favorite person on Earth is likely retiring in the near future.
But I wouldn't be worshiping at the shrine that is Tennis without the perfection of Billie Jean King.  And now the powerdyke gets her own tennis center named in her honor. DE-licious.
